Interdisciplinary Vehicle System Technology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT)
Vehicle, driver, traffic and society: understanding systems, handling complexity, preparing innovations. The Center of Automotive Research and Technology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), the merger of Universität Karlsruhe (TH) and Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe, generates comprehensive answers to emerging questions in the fields of energy efficiency and emissions reduction, safety, usability and comfort.

Die Daimler AG und das Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) starten mit der Gründung des „Projekthaus e-drive“ am KIT eine Forschungskooperation auf dem Gebiet der Elektroantriebe. Mit der erstmaligen Bündelung der Bereiche Leistungselektronik, Steuerungs- und Regelungstechnik sowie elektrische Energiespeicher und Elektromaschinen unter einem Dach im „Projekthaus e-drive“ werden wertvolle Synergien generiert, um die Forschungsaktivitäten zur nachhaltigen Mobilität effizient voranzutreiben.
